Meet the Keynote



Kei Tsukamaki (she/her) is a 3rd generation Japanese American and a 15-year teacher of Japanese and Spanish. She is the 2025 ACTFL National Language Teacher of the Year and has served as President of the Washington Association of Teachers of Japanese. Her professional interests are in curriculum design and ensuring accessible and meaningful professional development for language teachers. Outside of teaching, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her dog.
